Role Overview
We are seeking a Compliance Officer for our newly established Singapore Fund Management Company.
This role is responsible for ensuring that the entity meets all ongoing regulatory obligations under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), including compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, MAS submissions, and oversight of risk management processes.
The Compliance Officer will work closely with outsourced service providers but will remain the primary inhouse owner of MAS compliance, internal controls, and regulatory governance.
Requirements
The role requires hands-on experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory oversight within a licensed fund management or financial institution.
The candidate must be well-versed in MAS regulations, including SFA and AML/CFT requirements, with experience in regulatory submissions and inspections. A strong understanding of compliance frameworks, fund management operations, and high standards of integrity, independence, and communication is essential.
Proficiency in Japanese is advantageous but not required.
