- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Handle MAS regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Manage tax matters including GST, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing.
- Perform daily accounting operations and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Support process improvement initiatives and participate in finance-related projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (To communicate with counterpart in Japan).
- Experience within a bank or financial institution.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
- Hands-on experience in MAS regulatory reporting and financial close processes.
- Tax experience (GST, corporate tax, transfer pricing) is an advantage.
Salary: Up to SGD 9,000/month (depending on experience, skills, and current compensation) + Variable Bonus
